BUILDING ON THE SUCCESS OF TRIED AND TESTED SAILBOAT DESIGN
Alubat’s experience and expertise in building blue water 100% aluminum sailboats in collaboration with MORTAIN & MAVRIKIOS and CBA design agencies, meant that the upgrade from the OVNI 400 to the OVNI 430 was bound to be a success.
The OVNI 430 aluminum sailboat is part of the new generation of sailing yachts combining innovation, ergonomics, comfort and performance. The inverted bow gives the boat a longer waterline that results in an increase in volume in the front two thirds of the hull. This creates extra space in the forward lockers, which is essential for exploration sailing.

Step inside the Ovni 430 and take a look around, walk on the deck and get a feel for the cockpit and helm position. The layout of this newest model shows off the large, panoramic windows that provide plenty of light and ventilation.
The owners of this Ovni chose a traditional salon layout but you still get a clear sense of the visibility and connection with the outside.
What you don’t see on this tour is what we like to call Alubat’s ‘superpower‘, which is the lifting centerboard that provides countless benefits, including beaching, navigating shallow water, traversing canals, and perhaps most important to the exploration sailor, safety in heavy weather.
